Dorothy was another McDonald Green Classmate. Of course, there was little interaction between the girls and boys back then, but I remember Dorothy as having lots of friends and being totally engaged in the classroom. I considered myself one of her friends and hope she thought the same about me. I remember when we were told that Grade 7 would be at McDonald Green rather than Junior High. That sounded great to me since we had very few bad actors out there. I think Mr Kirkland got rid of BOTH of them by the second grade!
