Burke MacArthur “Mac” Keziah

1944 – 1982

 

Burke MacArthur “Mac” Keziah, 38, of 231 Woodland Village Drive, died Sunday, May, 1982, at Baptist Medical Center.

Born in Lancaster County, he was a son of  Mrs. Helen Knight Keziah Faile and the late Ralph Keziah.  He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.

Mr. Keziah was a computer analyst for Seibels Bruce Co., and a Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Katherine Mandanis Keziah, a son, Paul Keziah of Rock Hill; his mother of Columbia, and a half brother, Ray Faile of Columbia.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Charlotte, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte.

A Trisagion will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Home.

The family suggest that those who wish may make memorials to the Greek Orthodox Chapel fund, 600 E. Blvd., Charlotte, N.C. 28203.

Mac and I go all the way back to 1950. Our Class opened McDonald Green that year. Mac was always one of the guys with lots of friends and a great classmate. I hate that I did not stay in touch with Mac, as I remember him so well.
