Mr. Michael Wayne "Mike" Parnell, 70, husband of 50 years to Wanda Carter Parnell entered into rest on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Doctor's Hospital.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 4:00 P.M., in Fleming Baptist Church with Reverend Patrick Latta officiating.

He was born in Lancaster, SC to the late Owen and Arline Weaver Parnell. He was a retired Route Salesman for Millbrook Distribution and a member of Fleming Baptist Church. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran.

Other survivors include his son, Ashley Parnell of Augusta; grandson, Ayden Parnell of Florence, MA; brother, Richard Parnell of Rock Hill, SC and his sister, Judy Vincent (Ray) of Lancaster; cousin, Jeane McManus (Cecil).

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M., at the church.
