Mrs. Carolyn McManus Biles, 50, of 9846 Highgate Rd. died Sept. 8, 1996, in Lexington Medical Center.

Memorial service is 3 p.m. Tuesday in Grace United Methodist Church. Shives Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Biles, wife of Dr. Paul E. Biles, was born in Jessup, GA, a daughter of Vernon Jean Chauncy McManus and the late John Albert McManus. Mrs. Biles was an administrative assistant for the S.C. Department of Mental Health and Vice President of Professional Secretaries International, Palmetto Chapter.

Survivors include her husband of Columbia; son, Neal James McKenney of Jacksonville, FL; her mother of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Rodney (Annette) Bennett of Folkston, GA; Mrs. Steve (Gloria) Small of Columbia; Mrs. Ben (Myrna) Heath of Lancaster; a brother, Gary D. McManus of Newton, NC; two step-daughters, Melissa Biles Kekipi of Charlotte, NC and Christina Biles Ayers of New Bern, NC.
