Children/Grandchildren: I consider all my nieces & nephews my children (8 girls & 6 boys) And their children which extends to a very large family.  So I really lucked out!!!!!

Favorite Memory of High School: Lancaster Senior High School Band was my most favorite memory of High School. There could have never been a teacher that I admired more than Mr. Ben Watkins.  He was very stern in his teaching but very talented and fair.  What a pleasure it was to have known him and learned valuable life lessons. I met a best friend when starting the “Beginner Band” in the seventh grade and that was “C. B. Mathis”.  We were the best of friends and when traveling with the Band we would always plan our lunches together.  We would decide what each of us would bring and share with one another.  He has always been a friend of mine through out life.  Such a great personality and so talented.  I will always miss my Dear Friend. Special times are always in my mind like when our Band was invited to “Clemson University Band Day”.  Our Band was chosen to perform the formations of the “Half Time Show”.  We had lunch at the University and marched in a Parade to “Death Valley” – stopping at the goalpost – being announced as “The Lancaster Senior High School Marching Band” from Lancaster, South Carolina.  I remember that day so well with all the Pride you could have representing our school and town. Our last half-time show theme was “Exodus”.  We were sad because this was our last time to perform a half-time show.  I will always cherish those memories. Last, but not least, Thank you Wayne Henry, what a wonderful Classmate…..

Things I Would Like My Classmates to Know (College, military, occupation, etc.): King’s College, Charlotte, NC  -Graduate. Attending York Technical College at present taking “Medical Transcription Editor” . Career – My career was mostly in Manufacturing – Purchasing & Retail-Purchasing.  Also -  Insurance , Reservations and Sales Customer Service.
